Coronavirus (COVID-19): safely returning to grassroots football

Update: 3rd August 2020

Since the FA announced the plan for a phased return to training and competitive football in mid-July, the club have been actively preparing for a safe return.

We are in the process of affiliating with Cheshire FA and arranging insurance, which has been delayed by FA staff being off on furlough.

We have been informed that Alsager Sports Hub will be reopening at the weekend and we will be visiting tomorrow to check that all arrangements are in place.

Our risk assessment has been submitted and is available to download at the link below. Team managers will be ensuring that safe procedures are followed during training and matches. We encourage all parents to read the risk assessment as there is important information for youth players as well.

Training at the Hub will begin as soon as possible, with leagues expected to start in September.
